IndigoWave Tech LLC ("IndigoWave," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit indigowavetech.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. In short: this is a marketing website. We don't ask you to create an account, we don't process payments here, and the only information you can actively submit is an email address for our newsletter.

2. Information we collect

• Newsletter email. If you subscribe to our newsletter in the site footer, your email address is submitted directly to Substack, which hosts our newsletter. We do not store your email address on this website's servers — Substack processes it under its own privacy policy.
• Scheduling details. If you book a call through our Calendly links, any information you provide (name, email, notes) is collected by Calendly on Calendly's website, not on ours.

Information collected automatically

• Usage and device data. We use Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed, approximate location, browser and device type, and how you arrived here.
• Performance data. Vercel Speed Insights collects anonymous page-performance measurements so we can keep the site fast.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider, Vercel, may log standard technical data (such as IP address and request details) to deliver and secure the site.

We do not collect payment information, government identifiers, or any category of sensitive personal information through this website.

3. Cookies and local storage

• Analytics cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) to distinguish visitors and measure site usage. Vercel Analytics does not use cross-site tracking cookies.
• Theme preference. We store your light/dark theme choice in your browser's local storage (iw-theme). It never leaves your device.
• Session flag. We use session storage (iw-toast-shown) so a one-time notification isn't shown to you repeatedly. It is deleted when you close the tab.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them — you would simply need to re-select your theme on each visit.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Information is shared only with the service providers listed above (to run the site and its features) or if required by law, to protect our legal rights, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.

7. Data retention

Analytics data is retained according to the settings of Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics, after which it is deleted or aggregated. Newsletter emails are kept by Substack until you unsubscribe. Theme and session preferences live only in your browser and are under your control.

8. Security

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS with modern security headers, and we don't store personal data on our own servers — which is the simplest security measure of all. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work to minimize what is collected in the first place.

9. Children's privacy

This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Your rights and choices

• Newsletter. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, or you can manage your subscription directly on Substack.
• Analytics. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on (opens in a new tab), or by blocking analytics cookies in your browser.
• Access and deletion. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold by emailing privacy@indigowavetech.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law.

Depending on where you live — including under certain US state privacy laws and, for visitors from the EEA or UK, the GDPR — you may have additional rights such as data portability or the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We honor applicable rights requests regardless of where you're located.

11. Links to other sites

The site links out to our profiles on LinkedIn, Skool, and GitHub, as well as to Calendly and Substack. Once you leave indigowavetech.com, those services' own privacy practices apply.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change how the site collects or uses information — for example, by adding a contact form or new embedded service — we will update this policy and revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
